1. How do I check availability?

Give us a call or send us an email enquiry, we are a small family business and prefer to deal directly with our customers.

2. How do I secure my booking?

A £250 deposit secures your booking with us. The remaining balance will be due 6 weeks before collection of your motorhome.  If confirming a booking less than 6 weeks prior to collection the full amount is required at time of booking.​

3. What licence do I need?

All of our vans can be driven on a standard UK driving licence for drivers aged between 25-70 yrs, subject to necessary checks being carried out.  Please see our T&Cs.

4. Can I take a van abroad?

Due to the current political situation we have decided to remove our European travel options. No vans must travel abroad.

5.  Can I bring my dog?

We welcome a well behaved dog, maximum two.  There is a fee of £25 per week per dog, plus an increased security deposit of £250 extra.

6.  What happens if I have a breakdown?

We only source modern vans with low milage to minimise problems but should the worst happen you are covered by 24/7 vehicle breakdown service.

7. What do we need to bring?

Space is at a premium so pack lightly, our vans are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses, DAB radio, TV, cleaning products, tea towels and shower mat.  Plus a welcome hamper.  We can provide bedding as an optional extra but you will need towels. Avoid rigid suitcases as these are harder to store.

8. Is there a milage limit?

When hiring the van in the UK we allow the hirer 128 miles a day, 900 miles a week.  

9. What is not covered by the insurance?

If you fill the van up with petrol (our vans all take diesel) or lose the keys this won't be covered by our insurance.  Equally overhead damage, caused by driving into a low bridge for example, or damage deemed as gross negligence (see terms and conditions) is not covered by our insurance.  Windows, mirrors and tyres also cannot be claimed for.

10. What happens if I need to cancel?

  • More than 6 weeks before collection the booking deposit is non refundable

  • 6 weeks – 2 weeks before collection 50% of total hire charge is non refundable

  • 2 weeks – No Show 100% of total hire charge is non refundable

  • Unfortunately Holidays cannot postpone or transfer money from one hire to another

11. What do I need to collect my motorhome?

  • A £750 security deposit is due 48hrs before vehicle collection, paid via bank transfer.

  • All drivers MUST be present on collection of the motorhome

  • Full valid license (both the plastic photo card and the paper counterpart for Northern Ireland licences)

  • National Insurance number (for GB licence holders for DVLA check)

  • Passport

  • Two utility bills or bank statements per driver, each with name and address matching that on their driving license
    MUST be less than three months old

12. Can I leave my car at Holidays?

Yes, we provide on site car parking whilst you are away (vehicles left at owners risk).

13. How does my motorhome have to be returned?

  • All motorhomes must be returned to Holidays by 11am (unless otherwise agreed)

  • We ask the motorhome is returned with a full tank of diesel

  • The motorhome must be returned with an empty toilet cassette and grey water tank, please make sure grey water and toilet cassettes are only disposed at approved disposal points (charges apply if not)

  • Vehicles are expected to be returned in a clean and tidy condition

  • Food rubbish removed

  • Bathroom cleaned

  • Vehicles must be cleaned unpacked and ready to be handed over by 11am.
